 OUR MISSION The Carlisle School Association is the parent organization for the Carlisle Public Schools. Our mission is to support the school and to provide communication to the parent community. Working cooperatively with the school, the CSA organizes volunteers, helps raise funds for the school, and plans and organizes a number of events throughout the school year. The CSA Board meets monthly. Parents, faculty and administrators are invited to attend. More information about meetings, event dates and locations can be found in the school newsletter “The Buzz”, the local paper “The Carlisle Mosquito” and on this website. |
Happy New Year!! Now that we are in the full-swing of the school year, I would like to thank all the countless number of parent volunteers who are working so hard every day to support the teachers and all of our children. Thank you for the time you spend in the library, the classrooms, the lunchroom, on the plaza, and in many other volunteer efforts. We all really appreciate your help and support! If you have not yet been able to volunteer, but you would like to start now, it is never too late to sign up. We are always looking for more helpers (especially during lunch and recess). In addition to supporting the school through our volunteer efforts, we have been successful in supporting our teachers financially as well. In our fall grants cycle, we funded over $14,000 worth of grant requests for the teachers - 100% of which will directly impact our children in the classroom on a regular basis. Save the Date: Our next fundraiser will be on April 13th, the (early release Tuesday) at 3:00. It is going to be a fun and exciting kids music concert with Mr. Stamell. Please mark it on your calendar today. Also, we will be offering our annual t-shirt sale in March, and the book fair and supply kit sale in May. Stay tuned for more details on these wonderful opportunities to help our teachers and our school community.
