![]() OUR MISSION The Carlisle School Association is the parent organization for the Carlisle Public Schools. Our mission is to support the school and to provide communication to the parent community. Working cooperatively with the school, the CSA organizes volunteers, helps raise funds for the school, and plans and organizes a number of events throughout the school year. The CSA Board meets monthly. Parents, faculty and administrators are invited to attend. More information about meetings, event dates and locations can be found in the school newsletter “The Buzz”, the local paper “The Carlisle Mosquito” and on this website. |
Happy 2008! The Carlisle School Association has a lot of updates to share with you. I am very excited to announce that this past fall the CSA granted $17,758 in Teacher Grants. Some of the items included Science software, Early Intervention for Literacy items, Occupational Therapy equipment, and an Active Board along with Activotes and Actislates. I would like to thank all of you who have participated in any way in our fundraising efforts that have made it possible to present the monies for these much needed items for the teachers. I would like to say thank you to Francine Royce and Karen Slack from the Wellness Committee for putting together a wonderful Nutrition presentation at our November Parent Informational Coffee along with Bonnie Sellew and Mary Grant for their December presentation on Curriculum Enrichment. All CSA meetings are open to the public and we encourage all who are interested to attend. The CSA meeting dates for the remainder of the school year are as follows: February 12, March 18, April 8 and the Annual Meeting is set for May 20. All meetings will be held in the Corey Dining Hall at 9:00 A.M. unless otherwise posted.
